Rental Home Design

When working on this specific rental home my client needed to outfit the home for long-term renters. This meant sourcing better quality items that would last, but still within a budget. We wanted to keep the look clean and minimal, but still homey. A few things remained from the purchase of the home, like some kitchen items, the living rug and couches. So, we worked off of those pieces to complete the look of the home and make everything flow cohesively. Lots of grays, neutrals and pops of warm colors helped make this house a lovely home. I also added natural wood tones throughout the home to help the home be more inviting. Many of the items purchased for this home were sourced from places like Facebook Marketplace, Wayfair, Target and HomeGoods. It is possible to furnish an entire home on a budget!

Nashville Airbnb

For this property I helped steer the client when needed. She would reach out periodically for assistance with colors and materials. I also did a few projects throughout the space to bring some unique updates.

Monthly Nashville Rental

This was another property that I helped with on an as needed basis. We found thrifted some furniture and incorporated a few new finds to make this space beautiful on a budget. Working with a smaller space made finding basics like kitchen tables and living furniture challenging. We opted for a classic drop leaf table in the kitchen that could expand if needed. Small details like adding cushions to the kitchen chairs helped soften the space and add color.

Room Layout Redesign

When I was helping my client with this space, her difficulty was the cramped entry into the room and no floor space for her two girls to play. On the spot we rearranged the beds to open up the entry and clear out the floor space. A few weeks later I found her a gorgeous Sarah Sells Rug on Facebook Marketplace. Voila!

Quick Room Shuffle

I met this client in her home for maybe an hour and a half and helped her with a few things and gave her a few tips on items she could add or take away from her space. We spent the most time in her office off the front entry. She wanted the space to be welcoming and comfortable for visitors. She had done a great job sourcing new furniture for the space and using some items she already owned. While I was there we centered her desk on the wall and tucked in the chair to save space in the room. We moved a bookshelf from upstairs to the office to help fill out the space and allow for extra storage. We talked through bedding and ideas for her upstairs guest room and tucked in a few electric cords here and there to tidy up her space. It was a pleasure helping her see the beauty and function of pieces she already owned by simply rearranging her space. While there, I also measured spaces and spoke with her about a couple custom signs she wanted made for her office and den.
